Chasing the hen with the broken tether
that spilled the herb in my colander
in vengeance to appease my empty pot.
This fugitive hen with the broken tether
I am sure, is sweating as profusely as I am
but for her feathery cat-suit.

Down, down goes the galactic light server.
soon the earth would light its bedside lamp
but before I sign my eyes out of this world
of dreams tethered to uncertainties
I will add up the wasted hours
while the hen with the reconnected tether
sleeps in peace till another dawn

TIME

Time melt away like candle wax,
leaving me with no peace, no grace
to recover my lost discovery
burning like a long tread on fire
shedding its ashes of fulfillment
on every space covered

O! that time may be found guilty
arrested, convicted and sentenced
to mortal imprisonment
punished for the cost of its
sadistic freedom
to lazy men in bondage.
